The New Business Development Team scouts for opportunities for EIT Health to engage in collaborative project proposals, diversifying the organisation’s portfolio of grant-funded projects. It manages the organisations' efforts to build meaningful proposals and bids towards a variety of funding instruments, ensuring that opportunities are pursued, structured and developed from early ideas into concrete concepts that have a high chance of success for award by the relevant funding bodies and agencies. Similarly, it co-ordinates the preparation of effective responses to opportunities identified by other teams, particularly the Ecosystem Management Team within the same directorate.
EIT Health executes a portfolio of collaborative projects, supported through a diversity of funding sources. To ensure a steady pipeline of new opportunities and a funnel of projects, EIT Health is seeking to recruit a Senior New Business Development Manager. You will scout and prioritise upcoming funding opportunities (EU or national grants, philanthropic foundations, tenders), conceptualise and design new project applications, contribute to and manage the end-to-end proposal development process, while ensuring alignment with the needs of the business and the guidelines, frameworks and criteria of the target financing schemes. Ultimately, this role helps to further diversify EIT Health’s existing activities and projects, bridging new initiatives with the organisation’s strategic goals.

- Collaborate closely with asset management, profit growth, business development, stakeholder engagement and delivery functions within the wider team and the overarching EIT Health organisation.
- Support post-project review, for internal learning.
