Your responsibilities

Join EIT Health’s Talent & Skills Development Unit and contribute to the development and delivery of a portfolio of professional and executive education products addressing skills needs across the European health ecosystem. The portfolio includes modular, online, blended, and consortium-based programmes designed to support leadership, innovation, and transformation in healthcare and industry.

As Talent & Skills Development Portfolio Manager, you will lead programme design, modular products, and market-aligned packaging of learning solutions, translating industry and healthcare partner needs into offer-ready modules and pathways. You will work closely with learning designers, digital learning teams, and growth functions to deliver high-quality and impactful learning experiences. A core responsibility of this role is to engage with hospitals, pharma/medtech, and industry partners to identify capability gaps and offer modular learning solutions. 

This role requires occasional travel (3–4 times per year) for key delivery moments and ecosystem events.

Portfolio Development & Management
  • Contribute to the implementation of EIT Health's professional and executive education strategy by managing assigned education programmes within the Talent & Skills Development portfolio.
  • Conduct skills and market insights through direct engagement with industry and healthcare stakeholders, gathering intelligence that informs programme development and packaged learning offers.
  • Design modular ‘learning pathways’ and partner-ready bundles by assembling relevant modules into coherent, market-driven packages aligned with industry needs.
  • Work with learning designers, digital learning teams, and exploitation teams to translate strategic priorities into concrete, high-quality education programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance and accreditation frameworks, including EIT Label requirements for non-degree education.
Programme Delivery
  • Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for consortiums, ensuring timely delivery of courses and resolving operational issues.
  • Support the development of new or revised offerings for healthcare professionals and innovators, from concept to public launch, within the strategic framework and priorities defined at unit level.
  • Ensure adherence to Horizon Europe and other funding guidelines during programme execution.
Calls & Partner Engagement
  • Support education-related calls content, scope, timelines, processes, review of evaluation scorecards, chairing evaluation panels ensuring proposals align with portfolio strategy.
  • Monitor funded projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality and compliance standards.
Programme Exploitation & Continuous Improvement
  • Collect and analyze feedback from participants and partners to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the commercial lifecycle by providing Business Development with packaged learning options, pricing input, and product expertise during partner conversations.
  • Manage administrative and financial processes, including reporting, invoicing, and compliance with funding requirements.
  • Represent EIT Health at key events and engage with stakeholders to strengthen the learning ecosystem.

Your skills & knowledge

Formal education in health is not mandatory but an educational background in adult education is an asset. 
  • Master’s degree or higher in education, business administration, health, life sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years managing professional or executive education programmes, ideally in healthcare, pharma, medtech, or life sciences sectors.
  • Experience supporting or managing education-related calls (funded or non-funded), including guiding partners through requirements and ensuring proposal alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Experience engaging directly with industry (healthcare, pharma, medtech, corporate learning teams) to identify training needs and codesign solutions.
  • Proven experience in digital learning formats (short courses, blended learning, modular programmes).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; in digital learning platforms (LMS) and CRM experience desirable.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and accreditation standards for professional education (e.g., EIT Label).
  • Solution-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a remote-first, multicultural environment.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional European languages desirable.
  • Knowledge of the CME/CPD, EIT framework and EIT Label is a strong asset.
