The Corporate Affairs Function
The Corporate Affairs function at EIT Health is comprised of Communications (internal and external), Events, Programme Marketing, Public Affairs, the EIT Health Think Tank, and Stakeholder Relations (i.e., strategic alliance development with 3rd party organisations). Together, these activities aim to shape the environment so that it is more conducive to the wider adoption of healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship, and ultimately support EIT Health’s profile and mandate across Europe to improve health outcomes for patients and citizens, build sustainable healthcare systems, and support a strong healthcare economy. EIT Health is a vital instrument of the EU’s Research and Innovation Framework Programme, Horizon Europe, and is an authoritative stakeholder to support meeting European and national healthcare priorities.
The role
Communications is a core strategic driver for EIT Health that supports the organisation’s growing profile as the Health Innovation Platform in the EU.
Value, impact, contribution and benefit, identity, awareness and thought leadership are key areas of focus. Clear, strong, and aligned messages as well as maximising brand visibility across all activities of our organisation are fundamental elements of EIT Health’s overall strategy.
The Corporate Communications Campaigns Manager (m/f/d) (central office) is responsible for the tactical planning, project management and delivery of pan-European communications campaigns, designed to position EIT Health as a driving force within healthcare innovation. With excellent copywriting skills and a keen sense of what makes a good story, you will also be responsible for news story writing and publication on our WordPress website.
You will also oversee general content updates on the website and lead on all content planning for our social channels. In addition, you will own and help to update our brand book and other corporate materials.

Overseen by the Senior External Communications Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Devising and delivering external communications campaign plans and tactics that support the overall organisation’s objectives and position EIT Health as a driving force of healthcare innovation in Europe. Campaigns are expected to be ambitious, creative, and innovative, with appropriate measurement plans. All campaign work will help contribute to our ambitious annual communications objectives.
- Writing news stories and developing other content and communications activities, to target key external stakeholders to raise awareness of the role of EIT Health, how it works, what it does and why it matters.
- Publishing news stories and other content on our WordPress website. Overseeing the day-to-day management of the website, making edits as needed and reporting any bugs or issues raised by our regions.
- Carrying out on-page content optimisation and content creation as defined by our SEO-strategy, to ensure our website content meets the needs of audiences and search engines.
- Leading on the social media planning and tactics and the day-to-day management of our channels, in accordance with our social media strategy.
- Owning and consistently optimising our corporate materials and branding guidelines. Corporate materials include our EIT Health Annual Report, our core slide deck, and our message house. Maintain a relevant and accurate asset collateral portfolio, including fact sheets, slide decks, videos etc. Gather content that is aligned with EIT Health strategy.
- Supporting our Senior Events Manager with recommendations and development of appropriate content and/or other meaningful contributions/involvement at key strategically relevant events.
- Supporting the Public Affairs and Stakeholder Relations team with policy-focused communications campaigns.
- Providing appropriate resource, support and materials to our regional communications leads with their own regional plans for organisational content and materials. Provide a central repository of relevant content and associated collateral.
- Liaising and aligning with other functions to ensure a collaborative and conducive working relationships internally and externally.
- Management of freelance support as required.
