About the Position
EIT Health is leading a diverse ten-partner consortium to implement the HICEE project under Horizon Europe funding and innovation programme. The HICEE project aims to tackle the lack of investment in the Central Eastern European (CEE) region by building a sustainable early-stage investment ecosystems and attract local and international investors. The aim is to leverage the collective expertise of the project leader, EIT Health and the consortium partners, representing business acceleration service providers and investor networks from Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Slovenia, along with innovation hubs from Belgium and the Netherlands.
The Project Manager role (and Consortium Coordinator) is a full-time position, responsible for delivering the HICEE project, overseeing and managing all aspects of this project in alignment with Accelerator Strategy and EIT Health positioning. This role involves coordination, leadership, and planning to achieve the project's objectives, organising high-level events, and managing the partners interactions. The manager will report to the Head of Programmes within the Accelerator Team.
This is a temporary position for 2 years and is based in our Central Office in Munich. However, remotely working from Germany, Spain or France is also possible.

Your responsibilities
- Planning and proactively implementing the project inline with the activities and budget detailed in the proposal and in the Grant Agreement.
- Manage the European Commission Funding & Tender opportunities portal and the relationship with the Project Officer.
- Proactively coordinating the relationship with:
- The consortium of ten partners, following up with activities and reporting timelines.
- Other EIT Health departments (Finance, Data, Communications) to ensure the project runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Any individuals or affiliated entities asked to contribute to the project for their expertise.
- Ensuring that the implementation of work packages and delivery of ecosystem activities is of high-quality, timely and within the allocated budget.
- Monitoring the implementation of the work packages and ensuring progress is captured and deadlines are met.
- Ensuring effective quality assurance, with compliant processes including data management and expenditure.
- Managing risks to the project's successful outcome, while ensuring deliverables and KPIs are met.
- Active engagement in several work package tasks including support in the development of the TTO mapping, capacity building training, start-up selection and dealflow vetting process.
- Establish the project’s Advisory Group in line with EIT Health’s larger strategy, mindfully engaging the external stakeholders.
- Responsible for chairing and organising meetings, taking minutes, and tracking action points.
- Supporting the joint communication and dissemination strategy to EIT Health’s network, including the organizing of resources to develop the suite of communications material and press releases.
- Building up communications with all stakeholders and partners, promoting engagement and communicating key deadlines to team members and stakeholders. Contribute and lead on opportunities to develop programme reports and future funding proposals.
